Deb has a B.A. and a
Secondary Education Teaching Certificate from Texas A & M Commerce and a
Master's Degree in Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder,
Colorado. She has been working in the field of addiction for over
fourteen years and is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in
the State of Texas, a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC #38) in the
State of Colorado, a Certified Master Addiction Counselor-NAADAC (MAC
#501918), and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC) in the
State of Tennessee (# LDC1005). She is also certified to supervise
interns working toward Licensure in the State of Tennessee.
She has worked in both
residential and outpatient settings with adults and adolescents,
families, couples, individuals and groups.
Deb provides
individual, group, and family counseling around addiction and recovery
issues. She works with adults and adolescents on a variety of mental
health issues and with any one seeking guidance and support for
increased self-awareness and discovery. She is available for work with
the LGBT population. Deb is certified in parent education and truly
enjoys assisting families with learning how to better support one
another, how to improve communication, and how to experience joy within
a family system. She is also a Master Level Reiki provider.
Deb is available for
evening and Saturday sessions (by appointment only).
